ITT to Showcase Latest Drum Unloading and Hygienic Pump Technologies at PACK EXPO

    10/15/2018

SENECA FALLS, N.Y., – October 15, 2018 – ITT Inc.’s (NYSE: ITT) Bornemann business will showcase its hygienic twin screw pumps and drum unloading systems for food and beverage operations Oct. 14-17 in Chicago, IL. during PACK EXPO International, the world’s largest, most comprehensive processing and packaging trade show.

“Our comprehensive portfolio of the latest hygienic pump and drum unloading technologies is designed to help food and beverage processors improve operational efficiency,” said Jens Dralle, Global Product Manager, ITT Bornemann. “A highlight is our new BINEM drum unloading technology that we are previewing for the first time at PACK EXPO. BINEM is designed for difficult food applications and operates with less than 1% product waste, making it possible for food processors to extract more value from their operations.”

Visitors will have an opportunity to experience a virtual reality pump demonstration of the Bornemann SLH hygienic pump and the Bornemann HCH twin screw pump. Located at booth E9443, ITT products being showcased at PACK EXPO include the following:

    • Coming in 2019, the Bornemann BINEM drum unloading system empties products that are not self-leveling or cannot be handled by a drum pump or suction wand. This advanced design is perfect for applications like tomato paste, chocolate spread, cookie filling, peanut butter, and meat paste.
    • The Bornemann SLH-4G hygienic twin screw pump is effective in a wide range of product viscosities, temperatures and pressures, and is also capable of pumping common clean-in-place solutions.
    • The Bornemann SLH-4U hygienic twin screw pump offers the advantages of a hygienic twin-screw pump in a more standardized design than the SLH-4G.

PACK EXPO takes place October 14-17 at the McCormick Center in Chicago, IL. Please visit the Bornemann website for more information.
