The TV channel “Deutsche Welle TV” attended the development of the pump project in Sudan

The last of the six high pressure pumps for the pump station in Sudan has been installed. This pump station is a part of a new pipeline in this country built by the biggest Chinese Oil Company.

Due to the fact that every pump unit had a weight of 32 tons and that it was very important to install them very quickly, the customer decided to charter a cargo: “Antonov” from Frankfurt/Hahn to Khartoum.

Within one day and a half a truck convoy transported the big unit from the airport to the pump station in the desert.

With the great support of the Chinese Oil Company and its president Bornemann had the chance to attend the complete transportation from the beginning up to the installation on the pump station with a professional camera man. The result is a movie on Deutsche Welle-TV.
